Welcome back Weld Re-8 families!
The following information outlines the process for completing the 2025-2026 Family Economic Data Survey. The survey needs to be completed every year.
In addition to the Free and Reduced Lunch program, this data is used to qualify your students for discounted school fees, class material, athletic fees, and more.
The online survey will be available on August 1 at www.MySchoolApps.com. You can search the district by zip code: the Little Trappers, Butler, Twombly, Middle School and High School zip code is 80621 and the Homyak zip code is 80514. You can also find the district by using the drop down box in MySchoolApps.
The survey can be completed on a smartphone OR you can complete a paper survey. A parent/guardian will only need to submit one survey per household. In order to receive proper benefits, everyone in the household must be listed, including the adult completing the survey. If a paper survey is being submitted, it must be signed by the adult completing the survey.
There will be Nutrition Services staff at each school’s back-to-school event to assist parents/guardians with completing the survey. We encourage families to fill it out the online survey OR complete a paper survey. Paper surveys will be available at the back-to-school events. Paper surveys can be dropped off at the Administration Building at 200 S. Fulton Avenue in Fort Lupton.
Once your survey is processed, you will receive a letter through US Mail from Weld Re-8 stating your free/reduced status.
We know well-nourished kids perform better in class and are ready to learn. When we give kids healthy food choices and regular physical activity at school, they learn healthier habits for life.
Our Nutrition Services staff works diligently to provide our students with quality meals every day.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call Nutrition Services at (303)857-3324.
Thank you and have a great year!
