Weld Re-8 School District is currently following the CDC Transportation Requirements for all passengers and staff on school buses. All bus operators and students are required to wear a mask while using all public transportation services.

CDC issued an order requiring wearing masks on all public conveyances, including on SCHOOL BUSES. Accordingly, regardless of the mask policy at school, passengers and drivers must wear a mask on school buses, including on buses operated by public and private school systems, regardless of vaccination status.

Pick Up Times
If your child is assigned to ride the bus, transportation will notify the parents/guardian prior to school start with an estimated pickup time.  This is only an estimate and can vary the first few weeks of school as additional riders may be added or deducted to routes.  Please, have your students at the designated bus stop at leave 5 minutes before this estimated time.
Brake for the Bus
What do school bus lights mean?
Flashing Yellow Lights - Slow down and use caution, the bus is approaching a student stop!
Flashing Red Lights - STOP, do not pass the bus.  Students are actively loading or unloading the bus which could include crossing the street.
Together we can keep our kids safe!
