Technology Accessibility Statement 

The Weld Re-8 School District is committed to ensuring accessibility to digital content, including our website, for all members of our community, including individuals with disabilities, in accordance with federal and state law. 

Our ongoing accessibility effort works towards meeting or exceeding the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria. 

We are also taking the following steps to remove accessibility barriers:

  • Adopting inclusive communication practices across all platforms, including but not limited to websites, newsletters, emails, social media, and video content
  • Providing annual accessibility training and professional development to staff
  • Maintaining an accessibility review process for reviewing software and content before purchase or adoption
