Weld Re-8 Community:
The high school for safety purposes put the school on secure during lunch. It was business as usual inside the building and students outside the building were put into a safe location. The secure was called due to the suspicion of a weapon in a car. The weapon was an Orbeez toy gun. Please remind you students these items are not allowed on school property. The Orbeez gun will be confiscated and there will be administrative action taken. If you have any questions, reach out to a member of the administration at 303 857-7100
