Dear Weld Re-8 Families,
We’re excited to begin planning for the 2026–27 school year! At Weld Re-8 Schools, we value parent choice
and are proud to offer a variety of enrollment options for our families. Knowing your plans for next year helps
us make sure each school has the staff and resources needed to support our students.
This year, all families—whether you live inside or outside your school’s attendance area—are asked to
complete an Intent to Return form to let us know your enrollment plans for next year.
If your child currently attends a school outside your designated attendance area, please remember that open
enrollment and in-district choice are approved year by year according to policies JFBA, JFBA-R, and JFBB.
Submitting the Intent to Return form serves as your annual application. Schools will send written enrollment
decisions after January 15, 2026.
The Online Registration Form will be available January 15th in the Infinite Campus Portal for both new to the
district students and returning students.

Preschool Information
If you have a child starting preschool in the 2026–27 school year, please remember that enrollment happens in
two systems:
1. The Colorado Universal Preschool system at upk.colorado.gov
2. The Weld Re-8 School District Online Registration at weld8.org
