Summer Enrichment Resources

Weld Re-8 Schools will be offering various summer enrichment opportunities for students. These programs are designed to enrich students' academic learning beyond the school year.
 
Summer Literacy Program: This will be for current K-5th-grade students. The program will run from 5/26 to 5/29 and from 6/1 to 6/4.  This is a two-week, 8-day program that boosts reading and math skills in a fun environment. The program will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and will be located at Butler Elementary.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and transportation will be available.  *Pending grant funding approval.
 
Summer Food Program
 
ESY (Extended School Year): This program is for students in Special Education.  Students will attend Monday - Thursday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. and will be hosted at the Fort Lupton Middle School.  This program is only open to students who are referred by their teachers.  Parents will be notified soon!  Breakfast and lunch will be provided.  Transportation will be available.
 
STEM Summer Camp: This program will be held at Homyak PK-8 and Twombly Elementary from June 6th to June 12th.  The STEM Summer Camp focuses on Technology, Engineering, and Math projects.  Students will attend the 5-day program from 8:00 - 2:30 pm.  Snacks will be provided for students; however, students will need to bring a lunch from home. *There will be a participation fee for this program.
 
FLHS Credit Recovery: Fort Lupton High School will offer summer programming for credit recovery for 9th to 12th-grade students.  This program is for students who need extra credits toward graduation and will be held from 8 am to 12 pm, May 26-29 and June 1-4.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and transportation will be available.  There will be a participation fee for this program.

Community Learning Resources
 
Right at School Summer Program: A 4-week program from July 6th to 31st. Right at School will offer half-day options from 7 am to 12 pm, 12 pm to 5 pm, and full-day options from 7 am to 5 pm. This program will be located at Twombly Elementary. Snacks will be provided for students; however, students will need to pack a lunch from home. There will be a participation fee for this program.
