District Accoutibility Committee (DAC) Meeting Information
The next DAC meeting is Monday, June 5th from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. Meetings are held in the Board room at the Administration Building.
DAC members play an active role in reviewing and evaluating school improvement plans and for the accreditation of the Weld Re-8 schools. DAC is made up of representatives from every school in the district, community members at-large, parents, teachers and principal representatives. The committee meets monthly (usually on the third Monday of the month) to discuss district issues, student achievement, school improvement plans, progress on those plans and curricular matters. School representatives serve as the link between their school accountability committee and the District Accountability Committee.

Every year, school districts in Colorado report about their performance to their communities, based on requirements in the No Child Left Behind Act. In addition, state law has required that districts report district accreditation information.
